Affordable Web Sites was started by Mr. George A. Donathan Jr. (lead designer) as a traditional "brick and mortar" business, providing graphic design services. From 1996 to 2006 our original office was located in Miami, Florida. We got into the internet service business while searching for the resources to build our first website. We searched different hosting companies, merchant account, digital certificate and shopping cart vendors, and was able to review some of the industries best.

We don't have any frills (like a fancy office, toll free number, excessive staff, etc.). In addition, we do not have thousands of clients, we only accept the amount of clients that our staff can handle. This gives us the ability to provide "big company" services, with a "small company price, service and support"

From 1996 to 1999, all we designed were basic static websites. We registered our domains through "network solutions" and hosting all of our accounts with Valueweb. Our first design tools were "adobe pagemill & photoshop". In the year 2000, we designed our first animated project, it was exciting to see things move on a page. We expanded from basic animations to full blown flash productions.

Between 2002-2004, we were at a crossroads and needed to make some serious decisions about which direction our company was to proceed. The direction we chose was to depart from creating flash and introduce marketing services. In addition, we decided to invest into more resources to make our company more efficient. Here are some of the most significant investments we've made in the last 5 years.

• We invested in our own domain registrar "affordablecomains.ws" to register domains for our clients. From this website, you can also purchase web products and services to design your own website, obtain digital certificates, setup email marketing campaigns and much much more.
• We started leasing our own servers to provide ore secure hosting services to our clients.
• We partnered with "charge.com" and "e-onlinedata.com" to provide merchant accounts and payment gateways with "authorize.net."
• We partnered with early impact to provide shopping carts.
• We partnered with "constant contact" to offer affordable email marketing.
• We joined "the better business bureau" to offer credibility & reference.

In 2005 while working from home, the owner of Affordable Web Sites suffered from 2nd and 3rd degree burns in a kitchen fire. While recovering from this accident, he made the most major decision of his career. He decided to move the company to a new location. In May 2007, he moved Affordable Web Sites from Miami, FL to Warner Robins, GA.
