Getting started on the internet is very similar to started a traditional brick and mortar business. We can help with any or all of these steps. These steps includes, but are not limited to:

1. Domain Name Registration - This is the name that visitors will type in to find your web site. Our domain name is "affordablewebsites.net". Check here to see if a name you want to use is available.
2. Gather Your Ideas - Research the internet for companies similar to yours. Gather what you like about them and have these samples available for your designer/developer. Make sure you look at what colors you think may showcase your company well.
3. Decide On Your Features - While completing your research, decide on what features you want your web site to have. These include, but are not limited to "online stores, social network integration, weblogs, etc."
4. Decide How Many Pages Are Needed - Look through your material and decide the names of each page and the content that will appear on each page. Common names are "home, about us, contact, etc."
5. Navigational Theme - Based on the amount of pages you have, we will decide what navigational structure would be best for your project. Some navigational structures include "top, left and right"
6. Select Your Color Theme - Go to our online color chart and select your initial colors.
7. Prepare Your Content - Make sure all content is in an acceptable format. If you are using a current word processor, spreadsheet, graphics or presentation program, you should be fine.

8. For All Ecommerce Projects Provide (category info, picture of items, shipping charge, price info, description, etc.)
9. If You Will Be Using Paypal, Provide (paypal email address for payment)
10. If You Are Using Another Payment Gateway (provide user name and password for gateway)

Preparing Your Content...

1. Spell check and format your document as best as you can.
2. Prepare an send to us with an attachment of your word document with the proper name of the document in the subject of the message
